He studied composition at the Liszt Academy
of Music in Budapest and went on to teach
solfeggio and music theory there from 1974 to
2011. From 1970 to 1990, he was a member of
the Új Zenei Stúdió (New Music Studio). For the
past decade and a half, he has participated in
improvisational concerts with jazz musicians.
Since 2004, he has been writing and publishing
poetry.
